Our friend Owen has moved back to the Bay, and called a MUni ride for Berkeley this weekend. We had beautiful MUni weather as our mixed-skills group climbed and descended the canyon. I was happy to make the connector climb for the first time in a long time (following Bevan, who made it easily, of course).
Trail conditions were mid-autumn: lots of powder and loose leaves. Some stuff was easier than usual but the steeps were tough. Owen won Best Biff, twice, although I had a pretty good one on the chute at trail end.
