Dragon, Chris and I went over to China Camp for what’s usually mostly a fitness ride. But we went all the way up to the missile platforms, where Dragon won Best Biff (he’d already won First Blood) but also nailed a really gnarly chute (with spectators!)

Then for various reasons we all wound up taking different routes down. Dragon apparently found a solidly technical downhill, which is not something we’ve run into in China Camp before; definitely worth investigating in the future. I did an extra climb and descent on a super-steep fire road (hey CA State Parks: We can fix that for you).
It was a nice day and a good workout. The training series gets more serious from here, starting with Rockville this weekend.
