I love super-gnarly technical riding, but it’s also nice to have a pleasant family outing in the woods. Basically I’ll take any excuse for MUni. Last week it was an easy ride on the Oakland Pump Track and the Big Trees loop in Joaquin Miller. Kostya, Campbell, Ricardo and me on uni, Vicente, Jeronimo (not that one), and Nikolay on bike, and Maria on foot.
It was a beautiful day and a good time was had by all. The kids really liked the pump track, and we got to play on some of the new features there and on the trail.
Jeronimo won Best Biff, riding his little bike on the bonus trail. Other than that it was mostly pretty clean, with smiles all around. A good start to the training series. Moab April 1!
