I’m planning to start up a regular “Family MUni” series: an occasional ride designed for kids and newer riders, paced so that parents or friends can hike along, and less strenuous and technical than our normal rides.
Because of short notice we didn’t manage to get family out before the break, but several of us managed to get out there and have a great day anyway. Jimbo joined us for the first time in forever, Dragon linked the uphill on Chaparral all the way to the rocky section, we ran into the Oakland middle school mountain biking team, and Colin got to hit Cinderella for the first time.
Dragon, of course, won Best Biff and First Blood while playing on a log pile by the horse arena. (And hey, there’s a little pump track in the horse arena now, who put that there?)
